Vintage tools - sharpening stone D861

Up for sale is a genuine Antique Natural LLYN IDWAL SHARPENING STONE from WALES, a beautiful banded green stone in a handmade wooden box.

The stone is 177mm long, 35mm wide & 20mm thick.

Great for chisels, plane blades, knives & your straight razors, its a finishing stone & they put a superlative edge on tools. It's a light green with the typical black flecks & patterns through the stone.

CONDITION

This sharpening stone is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age and use, a genuine natural LLYN IDWAL stone. There are some beautiful natural variations in colour & grain, some tiny edge chips & the stone should be flattened / dressed to suit your requirements, its a magnificent stone, these aren't commercially available any more.
