Vintage tools - HAMMER Y881

Up for sale is a rare antique FRENCH DENGLE STOCK & HAMMER for beating out the edge of a scythe blade prior to the final sharpening with a scythe stone.
It’s a very old piece & has some interesting stamps to the head.

CONDITION

This dengle stock & hammer are in authentic antique condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, the handle has some worm holes & scorch marks & checks- as to be expected with a seriously old tool, this hammer was part of the Longfils collection that we purchased in France in 2019.
