Vintage tools - sharpening stone A153

Up for sale is a genuine Antique Natural LYN IDWAL SHARPENING STONE from WALES.

The stone is 210mm long, 47mm wide & a beefy 41mm thick, one could easily cut two stones from this one.

Great for chisels, plane blades, knives & your straight razors, its a finishing stone & they put a superlative edge on tools. It's a light green with the typical black flecks & patterns through the stone.

Weight - 1.2kg

CONDITION

This sharpening stone is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age and use, a genuine natural LYN IDWAL stone. There are some natural variations in colour, some edge chips & the stone should be flattened / dressed as there are some small patches of de laminations on each side, its a magnificent stone, these aren't commercially available any more.
