Up for sale is an antique natural sharpening stone a WASHITA STONE -  a natural stone from ARKANSAS, USA. This is a nice dense example, so will produce superlative cutting edges.

These are an amazingly good all round stone for woodworkers. These are old stock stones & much denser & finer than what is offered today.

 Size: 152mm x 50mm wide x 27mm thick

CONDITION

This stone is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, a chamfer to one corner and a chip out of one side, essential for keeping an edge on your tools in your workshop.
