Vintage tools - sharpening stone A323

Up for sale is an authentic VINTAGE BELGIAN COTICULE Natural combination Sharpening Stone / Razor Hone.

The coticule slice is naturally bonded to the BELGIAN BLUE WHETSTONE, some nice colour variation in the coticule layer.

An extremely fine finishing stone, coticles give similar results comparable to 6000 to 12,000 grit sharpening stones.

Weight - 400gm

Size: 160mm x 45mm x 17mm


CONDITION

This coticle stone is in authentic vintage condition, a large chip at one corner, some nice layer contrast in the coticule. The stone is dished both sides, this is a lovely little stone that would make a good razor or knife hone.
