Vintage tools -  sharpening stone A264

Up for sale is an antique natural sharpening stone a genuine TURKEY STONE.

The original source of the mine is lost to history & these are no longer commercially available. These are a much finer & denser stone than many of the synthetic offerings at hardware stores, this stone will last a lifetime.

Weight: 400g  

CONDITION

This stone is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use. Some large chips here & there & large flaking & very heavy sharpening wear, the stone exhibits the natural fault lines that Turkeys are famous for & this one is scattered with natural pitting. One to restore & resurface or leave as is for the stone collector.
