Vintage tools - chisel D1677
Up for sale is an antique SOCKETED FRAMING CHISEL by MORETON & FOSTER with a laminated steel blade, interestingly it has the date 1903 and the Military broad arrow stamp- 1/2” 13mm width, these are made stronger through the depth of blade for levering chips out.

CONDITION
This chisel is in authentic vintage condition, wear & tear consistent with age & use, one can still see the hand draw filing marks on the socket lap. It will require sharpening prior to use, a good laminated steel socketed chisel by a venerable English maker.
