Vintage tools - sharpening stone D857
Up for sale is a genuine Antique Natural LYN IDWAL SHARPENING STONE from WALES. Comes in a user made Beech Box.
The stone is 160mm long, 38mm wide & a beefy 30mm + thick.
Great for chisels, plane blades, knives & your straight razors, its a finishing stone & they put a superlative edge on tools. It's a light green with the typical black flecks & patterns through the stone.

CONDITION
This sharpening stone is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age and use, a genuine natural LYN IDWAL stone. There are some natural variations in colour, some tiny edge chips & the stone may be require dressing to suit your sharpening needs, its a magnificent stone, these aren't commercially available any more.
