Up for sale is a hard to find antique STANLEY USA No: 57 CORE BOX PLANE, with 1 x set of extensions & the correct turnbuckle, Stanley Rule & Level era cutter.
A specialist plane, it enables you to cut a perfect 1/2 circle in timber- for example the flutes on a Doric column or when making a gutter or similar.

CONDITION
This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, its tidy, some minor finish loss, the two turnbuckle socket screws are replacements, a good example of a hard to find plane.
