Vintage tools -  sharpening stone T6687

Up for sale is an antique natural sharpening stone a genuine TURKEY STONE.

The original source of the mine is lost to history & these are no longer commercially available. These are a much finer & denser stone than many of the synthetic offerings at hardware stores, this stone will last a lifetime.

CONDITION

This stone is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use. Some large chips here & there & to the edges, the stone exhibits the natural fault lines that Turkeys are famous for, this one has delaminated a large chunk off one side & would be suitable to be fixed / glued / bedded into a wooden base, essential for keeping an edge on your tools in your workshop.
