Vintage tools - drawknife T7043
Up for sale is a antique DRAWKNIFE (shaving knife) by SHEFFIELD toolmaker WILLIAM MARPLES & SONS, it features the clover trefoil stamp.
The cutting edge is straight & is 11" / 280mm long.
The drawknife is 455mm overall long with 70mm egg shaped handles.
Weight - 750gm
CONDITION
This drawknife is in authentic vintage condition, wear & tear consistent with age & use, some light age checks at the top of the handles, one peened rivet has a nail wedging it in place, both handles are tightly on, knowing what Marples steel is like this one will hold a wicked edge once sharpened.
