Vintage tools - chisel set T10031

An iconic FRESHLY SHARPENED set of 8 x TITAN AUSTRALIA No:101 REGISTERED FIRMER CHISELS, these are surprisingly hard to find in good lengths & condition these days, hardened to rockwell 59-61 at the factory to suit hard Aussie timbers -

1 x 2' - 50mm wide blade x 120mm blade length to shoulder

1 x 1.5" - 38mm wide blade x 110mm

1 x 1.25" - 32mm wide blade x 115mm

1 x 1" - 25mm wide blade x 118mm

CONDITION

These chisels are in authentic vintage condition, wear & tear consistent with age & use, all have been freshly reground on a Tormek to a 25 degree bevel & a very small 1mm or smaller micro bevel added, stoned & stropped, they are sharp enough to use, but you can always take them further, the backs have been flattened off & on a couple of chisels it could be done further, but I'd leave that til the next sharpen. Handles condition:

2" chisel- 1 x small check at the bolster ferrule & some mushrooming of rear ferrule.

1.5" chisel- no visible checks, slight mushrooming to rear ferrule.

1.25" chisel- 

no visible checks, slight mushrooming to rear ferrule.

1" chisel - small check at the bolster.

3/4" chisel - 

no visible checks, slight mushrooming to rear ferrule, part decal.

1/2" chisel - small check at bolster, slight mushrooming to rear ferrule, part decal.

1/4" chisel- 

no visible checks, slight mushrooming to rear ferrule, part decal.

1/8" chisel - 

no visible checks, some mushrooming to rear ferrule.

A good set of Titans ready yo go to work for their new owner.
