French antique tools - axe Y1727
Up for sale is an early & unusual antique FRENCH HATCHET HEAD with a very cool large incused makers stamp. It looks to be a fairly early tool.
The blade is 105mm wide & measures 170mm long along the head, it’s a cool piece.
Weight - 670g
CONDITION
This axe is in authentic antique condition, wear and tear consistent with age and use. Some rust marks & pitting & dents & a flake off the edge. A gorgeous piece & still pretty sharp. This adze was part of the Longfils tool collection & purchased in France in 2019.
