Vintage tools - plane H129

Up for sale is a vintage SARGENT No:422 jointer plane, proudly made in USA, with Mahogany handles & 60mm wide original Sargent 422 plane blade.

This plane is equivalent in size and use to a Stanley No. 7 jointer plane.

Weight: 3.5kg

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, some japanning loss, light rust spots to the base and some small patches of pitting on one side of the base. This plane has an inlaid brass logo on the 418 Sargent lever cap and features a very full blade that will only require a light sharpening prior to use.
