Refund policy
• Vintage Tool Shop Pty Ltd sells vintage & antique & second hand tools, most will exhibit signs of wear & use, we try our best to note any defects on our listings.
• Please check the PHOTOS as they are part of the description.
• All of our items are GENUINE ANTIQUES & VINTAGE - that means they have been used, and have the normal wear and tear associated with age & with a genuine vintage item. Be aware that hand tools especially have had a hard working life & may exhibit heavy wear, defects (rust, pitting, scratches, dents, finish loss, chips, cracks for example) & repairs, any defects to a particular tool will be noted to the best of our ability in the condition description. Please check all photos carefully as the photos form a large part of the condition description, and ask any questions you may have prior to your purchase. No tool has been sharpened for use unless it is noted as “sharpened ready for use”.
• Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
• Refunds are not accepted for a change of mind after purchase - please choose well prior to purchasing.
• We only accept returns or exchanges for purchases made on our website.
• Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.
• Exceptions / non-returnable items.
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalised items), and personal care goods (such as razors & shaving products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
• We have a 20 day return policy, which means you have 20 days after receiving your item to request a return.
• To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

• If your return is accepted, the return cost must be covered by the consumer, provide the postage cost receipt with tracking info & we'll refund the postage amount with the refund amount. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
• Refunds - We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
