Vintage tools - mallet H2259:

Up for sale is a gorgeous set of vintage LIGNUM VITAE & BOXWOOD LEAD DRESSING TOOLS with a fantastic colour to the wood. We have cleaned these & waxed them with a hard carnuba wax coating.
Used for beating lead sheet into shapes for flashings around chimneys & pipes. 

Made out of a heavy & dense timbers- lignum vitae & boxwood, slow growing dense timbers that are ideally suited for dressing sticks, virtually impossible to source these days, most new ones are plastic.

This Lead Dressing Stick is in authentic vintage condition, wear & tear consistent with age & use, tidy enough , nice to have a timber one, it feels nice & weighty in the hand.
