Up for sale is a cool antique SHIPS CAULKING MALLET. Looks to be fashioned from ironbark or similar local hardwood, from a Williamstown shipyard.

We have caulking irons available on separate listings.

Size - 410mm long, 365mm long head & 52mm faces, hard to find these days.

Weight - 1.5kg

CONDITION

This caulking mallet is in authentic vintage condition, wear & tear consistent with age & use, some age checks to the mallet head, a great old thing from the days of wooden hulled ships.
