Up for sale is a vintage STANLEY No:4 type 11 smoothing plane circa 1910-18.

Rosewood handles & a near full cutter. It’s a lovely plane, one of the handier planes to have in your workshop.

Weight - 1.6kg

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, tidy, an age check & small chip to the base of the front knob, will require sharpening prior to use. Some wear to the mouth. The type 11s are arguably one of the best looking Stanley planes.
