Vintage tools -  plane H848

A lovely antique CAST IRON LOW ANGLE Chariot PLANE with a shapely beech wedge & a STANLEY 1918 era blade, the bedding angle of the iron is around 12 degrees. Good for trimming miters & end grain. 

Weight: 760g

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear & tear consistent with age & use, the casting has a repair each side of the mouth & a couple of previous owners stamps, it's a lovely user made plane with a lot of mass for its size & plenty of character, will require sharpening prior to use.
