Up for sale is a gorgeous antique wooden PANEL RAISING / FIELDING PLANE by ALEXANDER CURRIE of GLASGOW, with a superb THOMAS IBBOTSON & Sons laminated blade & chipbreaker.

A smaller Scottish plane maker, he employed 4 x men.

The beech has the most lovely warm rich colour & patina of age & use, it feels good in ones hands.

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, previous owners name stamps, a cool panel raising plane that will be a magnificent user once sharpened.
