Up for sale is a SUPER RARE & TIDY vintage STANLEY USA No:444 DOVETAIL & Tongue & Groove PLANE in its original finger jointed box.

Remarkably, this rare plane retains all of its original parts, it even has the screwdriver, missing only the wooden test dovetail, easily made once you have the plane.

The perfect tool for cutting sliding dovetails.

CONDITION 

This plane is in authentic lightly used vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & light use. The only apologies are one of the tongues of the lid is gone, the instruction booklet is falling apart & as mentioned earlier the example dovetail joint is missing from the box.
