Up for sale is a fantastic vintage MILLERS FALLS USA No:1 hand drill.

A shapely rear rosewood handle that unscrews for bit storage & a clever adjustment mechanism to stabilise the single pinion crank wheel. Silky smooth and one of the best of its kind.

This drill has one of William H McCoy’s patented early three jawed chucks that are springless & work via tapering ramps. A fantastic design that never has spring issues.

CONDITION

This drill is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age and use, a well worn chip to the rear handle cap & a dark patina overall, works well, perfect for the unplugged workshop.
