Vintage tools -  plane T6885 

Up for sale is a hard to find & very tidy Australian made CARTER  No:4 & 1/2 heavy / wide bodied smoothing plane.
Only produced for 20 years they are a cool piece of the Australian post WW2 manufacturing boom times, 60mm cutter.

Weight -  2.2kg

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, a very original example, near 99% japanning complete, most of the original rear handle trade label, some light rust stains to the sides & base, a full original cutter, one of the handier planes to have in your workshop.
