Up for sale is a collector grade vintage CARTER No:78 DUPLEX REBATE / RABBET PLANE, made in AUSTRALIA. I would doubt that this plane has seen much work due to the condition of the sole.

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, some minor finish loss & storage rust spots, one of the handier planes to have in your workshop and a tough survivor from the post WW2 Australian manufacturing boom.
