Vintage tools -  plane Y205

Up for sale is a gorgeous & unusual antique FRENCH hollowing PLANE that has some age to it. It looks to have been made out of FIGURED FRENCH WALNUT, there is a rich warm patina & colour to the wood.

With its beautiful rich & warm patina to the wood, this plane makes a great DISPLAY piece.

Weight - 700g

Size: 220mm long x 50mm wide & with a 40mm cutter 

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, a few vacant worm holes, however this plane was heat treated to kill any pests prior to shipping to Australia, need sharpening prior usa.
A nice laminated steel cutter with some rust scale. It's a lovely piece with extra nice figure to the walnut & part of the Yves Longfils collection that we bought back from France in 2019.
