Vintage tools -  plane N1173

Up for sale is an antique SARGENT No:409c CORRUGATED BASE SMOOTHING PLANE. Not a common plane to find in Australia. I can’t recall the last time that we had a corrugated base Sargent bench plane.

Size: 240mm long x 61mm wide with a 50mm wide blade.

Weight -  1.5kg

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age and use. A fantastic user made rear handle. A hard plane to find, sharpen it up & plane away.
