Up for sale is a hard to find vintage SARGENT No:217 BLOCK PLANE, handy for mitres & end grain work made in the USA.  

Size: 182mm long x 48mm wide with a 41mm wide blade.

Weight -  590g

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, most of the japanning has gone, some heavy wear to the front knob & scattered pitting to the body, one of the better block planes to have in your kit. Sharpen it up and plane away.
