Vintage tools -  plane B57 

Up for sale is a hard to find Australian made CARTER  No:4 smoothing plane in its original box.

Only produced for 10 years - 1945-1955 in Parramatta, NSW. They are a cool piece of history of the Australian post WW2 manufacturing boom times.

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, scattered storage rust marks across the body, the original rear handle has its complete trade label & the original box has a partial label, one for the Australian plane collector.
