Vintage tools - HAMMER Y880
Up for sale is a rare antique FRENCH DENGLE HAMMER for beating out the edge of a scythe blade prior to the final sharpening with a scythe stone, its a very old piece & has some interesting stamps to the head.
A handy smaller size, easy to hold in the hand & would be an excellent metal beating hammer for jewellers.

CONDITION
This hammer is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, the handle has been remounted at some point with packing visible at the eye, this hammer was part of the Longfils collection that we purchased in France in 2019.
