Vintage tools - plane N1286

Up for sale is an unused vintage CARTER Australia No:5 jack plane. A hard to find Aussie made plane. Carter were only in production from 1945 to 1955.

This one is proudly made in Australia with a 50mm cutter & coachwood handles.

Weight - 2.3kg

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, some storage rust marks to the body, a full decal on the rear handle. A small hole in the box lid. The cutter has the original factory grind with traces of the original grease protection at the cutting edge- this plane has never been used. A good Australian made jack plane for the serious collector.
