Antique tools - brace T9015 :


Up for sale is a fantastic early antique European / Continental style hand BRACE in Iron with Ornate & Original Handles by HILGER & SONS.

Extremely elegant in their simplicity, all iron construction with beech pads.
They do the job very well, in fact better than a lot of more complex "bells & whistles" braces.
7" sweep, it has a makers stamp on the frame at the base of the quill.

CONDITION
The brace is in authentic vintage condition, wear & tear consistent with age and use. 
Covered in dark oxidisation & the crank handle has been refixed on at some time & an age check to the side of the rear pad handle. It's a very old brace & still works well.
