French antique tools -  axe Y675

Up for sale is an early & unusual antique FRENCH AXE HEAD. It looks to be a fairly early tool.

The blade is 145mm wide & measures 230mm long along the head, it’s an impressive piece.

Weight - 1kg

CONDITION

This axe head is in authentic antique condition, wear and tear consistent with age and use. Some rust marks & pitting. A couple of chips out of the cutting edge. This axe head was part of the Longfils tool collection & purchased in France in 2019.
