Up for sale is a fantastic early antique European / Continental style hand BRACE with Ornate & Original Handles, unusually this one is has walnut handles.

Extremely elegant in their simplicity, all iron construction with walnut pads.

They do the job very well, in fact better than a lot of more complex "bells & whistles" braces.

8" sweep.

Weight - 400g

CONDITION
The brace is in authentic vintage condition, wear & tear consistent with age and use. 
The turned crank handle has an old repair & the chuck screw is a replacement, it's a very old brace & still works well enough.
