Up for sale is a gorgeous & unusual antique FRENCH smoothing PLANE that has some age to it, made out of heavy FRENCH Live OAK. 

A beautiful rich & warm patina to the wood, a great DISPLAY piece.

Weight - 1.1kg

Size: 225mm long x 62mm wide & cuts 40mm approximately 

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, a gorgeous patina to the wood, the blade has a makers mark that will be revealed once cleaned. A small hole drilled through the body at the nose. Sharpen prior to use, it's a lovely piece & part of the Yves Longfils collection that we bought back from France in 2019.
