Up for sale is an unusual antique SARGENT low angle KNUCKLE CAP BLOCK PLANE, handy for mitres & end grain work made in the USA.
The bed angle is around 12°.
The knuckle cap design makes for an extremely comfortable plane to hold & use & these are a better design than the Stanley 18s.
Size: 175mm long x 51mm wide with a 41mm wide blade.
Weight - 630g
CONDITION
This plane is in authentic vintage condition, some finish loss, one of the better block planes to have in your kit with depth adjustment & an adjustable mouth, will require sharpening prior to use. A professional / trade quality block plane.
