Vintage tools - plane Y1811
Up for sale is a gorgeous & unusual antique FRENCH Cove profile MOULDING PLANE that has some age to it.
It is made out of Cormier wood that has a warm & beautiful rich patina & being a fruit wood has taken a very smooth finish.
A beautiful rich & warm patina to the wood, a great DISPLAY piece.
Weight - 850g
Size: 205mm long x 60mm wide & cuts a 22mm x 27mm approximate cove
CONDITION
This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, a few shrinkage checks to the end grain, still in a usable condition with a quick sharpen, it's a lovely piece & part of the Yves Longfils collection that we bought back from France in 2019.
