Up for sale is an antique INFILL SHOULDER PLANE with a ROSEWOOD INFILL probably by Yorkshire plane maker THACKERAY & with a CAST IRON BODY, with a cutter by THACKERAY.
Thackeray made metal bodied planes & plane castings from 1893-1930.

Size: 195mm x 32mm
CONDITION
This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, a previous owner’s name etched into one side in cursive script, some wear to the mouth, some casting pits to the body, it’s a lovely plane for the workshop & heavy for its size.
