ITEM DESCRIPTION

Vintage tools -  knife D1519

Up for sale is a vintage CARBON STEEL carving  KNIFE, by Sheffield master cutler JOSEPH RODGERS, with a natural stag handle. Stamped GR on the blade alongside a royal warrant for King George 1936-52.

Size - 220mm long blade, tapering 25mm + wide x 357mm overall.

Weight - 165gm

CONDITION

This knife is in authentic vintage condition, wear & tear consistent with age & use, a bend at the tip of the blade - should be easy enough to reshape the blade, missing the shield on the butt of the stag handle & will require a sharpen prior to use. Fantastic stamps on the blade of this knife.
