Vintage tools - plane H2310

Up for sale is a hard to find Australian made CARTER No:4 smoothing plane. These came out with Swedish tool steel cutters.

Only produced for 10 years - 1945-1955 in Parramatta, NSW. They are a cool piece of history of the Australian post WW2 manufacturing boom times.

51mm cutter.

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, a very original example, some finish loss, the original rear handle has a partial trade label. Sharpen it up and plane away.
