An absolutely gorgeous antique wooden SCREW STEM PLOUGH PLANE by ALEXANDER MATHIESON of GLASGOW with 8 x plough iron cutters & fancy screw stem BOXWOOD ARMS & NUTS, a model No:9B.

CONDITION
This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, a period repair with a screw to the LH handle side, some chips to the boxwood threads on the screw arms that doesn’t affect use. An absolutely gorgeous plane that would be lovely to use if one sharpened up the cutters. The screw stem fence makes for easy adjustment.
