Vintage tools -  plane Y104

Up for sale is a gorgeous & unusual antique FRENCH tonguing PLANE that has some age to it, made out of a gorgeous fruitwood that has taken on a rich warm toffee colour. A cool organic shaped side escapement on this one.

A beautiful rich & warm patina to the wood, a great DISPLAY piece.

Weight - 480g

Size: 207mm long x 45mm wide & cuts an 8mm tongue on a 25mm board approximately 

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, a large chip from one of the rear shoulder rails, the blade will require sharpening, it's a lovely piece & part of the Yves Longfils collection that we bought back from France in 2019.
