Vintage tools -  plane Y1502

Up for sale is a gorgeous & unusual antique FRENCH smoothing PLANE that has some age to it, made out of CORMIER wood & has NS branded into one side in a serifed font & cool balloon shaped escapement.

A beautiful rich & warm patina to the wood, a great DISPLAY piece.

Weight - 470g

Size: 205mm long x 49mm wide & cuts 38mm approximately 

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, a gorgeous patina to the wood. Some heavy wear to the base as to be expected with such an early plane. It's a lovely piece & part of the Yves Longfils collection that we bought back from France in 2019.
