Vintage tools - Cleaver D1218

Up for sale is a gorgeous antique FRENCH CLEAVER that looks to have some age to it be PEUGEOT FRERES.

A heavy over square blade, 97mm wide x 170mm x 285mm overall, clinched rat tail tang construction, with a turned patinated fruitwood handle.

Weight - 560gm

CONDITION

This cleaver is in authentic vintage condition, wear & tear consistent with age & use, will require a sharpen prior to use. A couple of large age checks in the original handle & some scattered pitting to the blade, an authentic condition early French cleaver that is a superb piece.
