Up for sale is an absolute gorgeous antique BEECH, BRASS PLATED & Lignum Vitae handled BRACE, by WILLIAM MARPLES of SHEFFIELD.

Weight - 700g

CONDITION

This brace is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age and use, some wear to the beech body. The chuck button works- most folk back in the day filed a notch in their auger bits for positive engagement, some play in the rear quill & the ivory ring is missing pieces as they usually do, a beautiful plated brace by W.Marples.
