Vintage tools -  sharpening stone H516

Up for sale is an antique natural sharpening stone a genuine TURKEY STONE, this looks to be a Black Turkey, very hard to find.

The original source of the mine is lost to history & these are no longer commercially available. These are a much finer & denser stone than many of the synthetic offerings at hardware stores, this stone will last a lifetime.

CONDITION

This stone is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use. Good sharp edges, the stone exhibits the natural fault lines that Turkeys are famous for, essential for keeping an edge on your tools in your workshop. One for the natural stone enthusiast.
