Antique plane - H551:

A genuine NORRIS A3  infill PLANE with a heavy INDIAN ROSEWOOD infill & an I&H.SORBY parallel blade stamped Norris London to the reverse.

 A tight mouth & a 2 & 1/4” cutter.

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age and use, some light scratches to the sole & light rust marks to the sides & sole, a previous owners name on the front infill. Considered the ROLLS ROYCE of planes by many including Fine Woodworking magazine, they are an absolute delight to use, sharpen it up & you’ll be taking gossamer shavings off cranky boards of timber with gusto.
