Vintage tools -  plane H795

Up for sale is a very hard to find antique EDWARD PRESTON No:1347NP (Nickel Plated) BULLNOSE SHOULDER PLANE.

This one is a matching numbers plane, stamped with the same sequence on the body, blade & cap. A rare plane, in Prestons 1909 catalogue the nickel plated 1347 was 3/6 - 3 shillings & sixpence, compared to 3/ - 3 shillings only for the japanned version, tradesmen were a frugal bunch back then.

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear & tear consistent with age & use, some plating loss, a near full blade, a handy plane for rebate work, it fits the palm well, sharpen it up & get your rebates nice & clean.
