Up for sale is an early & unusual antique FRENCH PATTERN HATCHET HEAD, with an integrated hammer poll.

The blade is 126mm wide & measures 195mm long overall, Its forged construction.

Weight - 800gm

CONDITION

This hatchet head is in authentic antique condition, some pitting as to be expected with an antique tool & mushrooming to the poll. It will require sharpening prior to use. This hatchet head was part of the Longfils tool collection & purchased in France in 2019.
