Vintage tools -  plane N1209

Up for sale is a vintage STANLEY England No:4c corrugated base smoothing plane with a 51mm wide cutter.

The grooves reduce friction & make the plane easier to push. Not common to find the corrugated English ones.

Durable resin handles & a nice heavy casting. It’s a good user plane, one of the handier planes to have in your workshop. 

Weight - 1.66kg

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, some finish loss. It will require sharpening prior to use, a good hard wearing plane for the workshop or worksite.
