Vintage tools - saw set H1561

Up for sale is a vintage DISSTON RAKER GAUGE & JOINTER.

Used with a file to flatten off & even up the teeth on large crosscut saws & also to help set the height of the raker teeth (the 5th pair of longer teeth that don’t cut but only clear sawdust out of the cut)

This saw raker gauge is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, made in the US, an essential tool to have in your workshop if you are considering sharpening your own crosscut saws.
